You already know who you are, and somewhere within you, you already know what you need. Beneath the layers of daily responsibilities, expectations and the constant movement of life, your authentic nature has never disappeared. It has simply been waiting for your attention.
The story behind the book
The Light in You was never conceived as a book in the conventional sense. It grew quietly over time, becoming a document of an inner journey, of a free spirit becoming even freer. The poems arrived spontaneously, often in the early hours of the morning, and I wrote them down exactly as they came. The photographs arose in much the same way, through moments of intuition, observation and wonder. For a long time they existed independently, until I began to recognize that the words and images belonged to the same unfolding story.
Only then did the book reveal itself
What began as separate moments of seeing, feeling and writing gradually became a record of transformation: a movement towards greater freedom, deeper awareness and a more immediate experience of being alive.
There are moments in life when a single sentence arrives at exactly the right time. A photograph opens a forgotten memory. A poem gives words to something you have always felt but could never quite express.
The Light in You was created for those moments. It is not a book to rush through, but one to return to whenever you feel the need for stillness, perspective or quiet reassurance.
